I utilized OBS and the PowerPress Podcasting plugin due to ease of use and my past experience with OBS for personal use (recording gameplay for friends). I didn’t run into too much trouble getting everything recorded since I’ve used this software in the past, though I did need to go through setup again since I complete school projects on macOS and I typically use OBS on Windows 11.
Using podcasts can be useful as a media supplement on websites. It promotes engagement and interest since it differs from typical text-based content most of the time. For Alume Studio, it allows users to listen to training/learning content if they are actively working on a video shoot. This lets them multitask better instead of taking constant breaks of reading long posts and going back to their shoot.
